Waterfall Workshop Day

Join us in the heart of Waterfall Country for a full day dedicated to capturing the stunning waterfalls around Pontneddfechan. This guided photography experience is designed to help you improve your technique while enjoying one of South Wales’ most beautiful landscapes.

We’ll meet at Sgwd Gwladys Café at 9:20am for a short briefing, with a 9:30am prompt start. Please bring water and a packed lunch; detailed briefing notes will be sent out in advance so you can arrive fully prepared.

The day involves walking along established waterfall paths with plenty of stops for photography. While we won’t complete the entire trail, you should be comfortable walking on uneven, undulating ground for up to around 4 miles over the course of the day.

To ensure plenty of individual guidance, group size is limited to just 8 participants, with two experienced tutors on hand throughout. This makes the day ideal for beginner to intermediate photographers. A basic understanding of how to adjust ISO, shutter speed and aperture is recommended—even if you’d like help understanding when and why to use them.

Come away with stronger images, greater confidence in your camera, and a fantastic day out with like minded people.
